Kanchanpur, a district in the Southwest Terai of Sudurpaschim Province, has been badly affected by the floods and inundation that occurred in the last 24 hours.
Four people have died due to flood in the district and around 900 families have been displaced. Traffic on the east-west highway has been blocked after the floods swept away.
