India has briefly reopened exports of shoes, sanitary pads and diapers, giving manufacturers an extended deadline to obtain or renew Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certificates.
However, Nepali manufacturers are worried about what will happen after the deadline expires, as many are still yet to obtain the necessary certification.
