KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 3
The long-awaited tripartite power trade agreement was signed on Thursday in Kathmandu, paving the way for Nepal to export hydroelectricity to Bangladesh. Under the agreement, Nepal will export 40 megawatts of power to Bangladesh.
