Whitefly outbreak affects hectares of paddy in Palpa

Whiteflies have infested more than 100 hectares of paddy fields in Palpa, western Nepal, reducing crop yields by two-thirds.

Whiteflies (Aelurocybotus indicus) have been affecting the crop since August.
